So let us tell you the story of how we came to be Cross Connections Coffee Shop. Our story started in 2015 around a cup of coffee, of course.  That time we were just dreaming of having a coffee shop. We dreamed of a coffee shop where people could come and enjoy more than just coffee. We dreamed of a place where they can come sit and enjoy good coffee and food and with friends, family, colleagues, themselves and also, yes also with God! Back then we decided that this dream coffee shop should be called Cross Connections , as that is what will happen there, and in faith, officially registered the business.

It was only in January 2022 that the dream suddenly became a reality when the opportunity to take over HeBrews coffee shop from Louise, the previous owner, opened up. We must admit, it was a sudden move of God for us, a move to get us from dreaming to doing!

We initially decided to keep on trading as HeBrews Coffee Shop whilst we put on working clothes to our dream, built our team, established our vision, and got to know all the ins and outs of this beautiful business. In June 2023 we started to trade with our real name, Cross Connections Coffee Shop and we could step into the the fullness of our dream.

What a journey it has been, what a joy to see a dream becoming a reality. We have witnessed so many cross connecting moments here. We saw old school friends connecting again after 40 years. We witnessed home purchase agreements being signed. Business meetings happening, problems being solved. We witnessed a 60 year wedding anniversary. When school closed for holidays we saw many families connecting to celebrate good results! Many birthdays were celebrated. Perhaps the most beautiful for us was witnissing people connecting with God, finding hope and purpose and LIFE!
